Make these potatoes less sinful by using reduced fat or fat free cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and cheddar cheese.
1 lb. Frozen hash browns
1 can Cream of mushroom soup
1 c. Sour cream
1 c. Cheddar cheese
3 tsp. Margarine or butter
1/3 c. Onion chopped
1 can French fried onion rings (optional)
Heat margarine, soup and onion; add sour cream. Blen in potatoes; stir in cheese. Pour in greased casserole. Dot with margarine or butter and sprinkle top with French fried onion rings. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes
