Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200oC/gas 6. Mix the minced beef with the onion, garlic, and parsley. Season well; add the tomato ketchup, water and 2 of the eggs. Beat the mixture until the meat is well worked and resembles sausagemeat rather than mince.
Form the meat into a sausage shape. Place on a tray and cook for 35 minutes in the oven. Remove from oven and leave to cool, reserving the juices that have escaped from the meat.
Roll out the pastry. Beat the remaining egg with a little water and brush the inside of the pastry with the egg. Place the meat in the middle of the pastry and roll the pastry over the meat.
Place on a tray and cook for 40 minutes. Serve with the juice from the meat, mashed potatoes, green beans and tomato ketchup.
