Chili con Carne

Ingredients

1 lb Beef cubed or ground

1 Onion, chopped

1-2 cloves Garlic, minced

2 tbsp Vegetable oil

1 can Green chilis, diced

2 cans Assorted beans

1 can Tomato sauce

1 can Stewed tomatos cut up

Salt

Onion powder

Garlic powder

Chili powder

Oregano

Preparation

Sautee onions, garlic and chilis in vegetable oil until tender. Add beef and brown until cooked. Add entire contents of all remaining cans. Season to taste. Bring to boil. Turn down heat and simmer until ready to eat.

Cook's Notes

This can be served as soon as it is hot, but is better if cooked longer and even better the next day. I just toss in seasonings until they taste right so I have no idea how much I use. Great served with melted cheese on top and cornbread on the side.
