9 layer salad

a unique tasty salad that is nutritional easy to make a brow riser at any meal time

Ingredients

1 Head of lettus-cut in thin slices,

1 Large slied thin cucumber,

2-3 Sliced radishes,

2 stalks Celery

1 Small can of sliced water chesnuts,

1 bag Frozen petite frozen peas,

1 jar Mayonaise,

1/2-1lbs Swiss cheese {strips)grated,

6 slices Bacon choped

Preparation


Cook bacon strips till very crispy-aside papertowel till cool and chop small squares.

Grate the swiss cheese.

Slice the lettus into long strips

Slice radishes,cucumbers,celery {1/16"see-thru thin}

Drain & rinse water cheasnuts

in dish layer as follows:1=lettus-2=cucumber-3=water chesnuts-3=radishes-4=celery-5=peas-6=mayo-7=swisscheese-8=bacon

fill dish base to 1/4w/lettus-


cover lettus w/1layer of cucumbers-


layer water chesnuts on cucumgers-


lay celery & radishes on water chesnuts-


layer of frozen peas-


spread a 1/8"layer of mayo on top the peas-


Sprinkle a layer of swiss cheese atop mayo-


top it off with layer of chopped bacon


refridgerate for 10min or till you serve

Cook's Notes

you can substitute-radishes for any crunchie veg you normaly put in a salad as long as its sliced thin
Keep peas frozen-nothawing required
WARNING never use canned peas as substitute,nor miracle whip for mayo-substitute.(this is a very bad mistake if done)
Best served on ice cold salad plates

This is not a vegetarian recipe, as it calls for chopped BACON.
