A vegetarian alternative to meat sauce with spahetti.

Ingredients

1 Tube "Gimme Lean" ground beef alternative
1 Onion, diced
2t Olive oil
2 jars Spaghetti sauce
2 cloves Garlic, minced
2t Fennel seeds
1t Oregano
2t Dried basil
2t Chopped parsley
1t Red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated parmesan cheese
1 lb. Spaghetti

Preparation

Heat olive oil in skillet. Add diced onion and saute until golden. Add beef alternative and brown. Add spaghetti sauce. Add spices. Bring to boil, then simmer 30 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain.

Place spaghetti portion in bowl and top with sauce. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

This tantillizing meat sauce is bursting with flavor. The seasonings provide this italian dish with authenticity and the "meat" is a perfect substitute for ground beef. I give this receipe two thumbs up!!!!
