Fried Rice

This is a very quick and simple recipe to make, and can be made from most meat leftovers in the fridge. Can be made vegetarian by just using the egg and no meat.

Ingredients

2 c. Rice (4-6 c. cooked)

1 lb. Chicken, beef, shrimp, or pork

1 Large onion

1 Bell pepper

1 Small can mushrooms

1 Small can bean sprouts (opt.)

1 Small can water chestnuts (opt.)

3-4 beaten eg Gs

1/4 c. Soy sauce

2-3 t. Gravy Master

Preparation

1. Cook rice while preparing rest of dish.

2. Spray large frying pan or Wok with cooking spray. Saute meat, if used, then put in a medium bowl.

3. Saute onions and peppers in same pan, place in bowl with meat.

4. Pour beaten eggs in pan and cook, scrambling, then place in bowl.

5. Add rice and bowl contents to pan. Add soy sauce, mushrooms, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, and gravy sauce and mix well. Enjoy!
