Tasty and healthy chicken casserole that's loaded with calcium!

Ingredients

12-14oz Can white meat chicken
8oz Fat free sour cream or fat-free plain yogurt
1 can Biscuits
1 can 98% fat free cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup Skim milk
1 1/2 cups 2% American shredded cheese

Preparation

1. preheat oven 350. lightly grease a casserole dish.

2. mix the chicken and sour cream in a small bowl. roll the biscuits out flat with a rolling pin (one at a time) and fill one side of the biscuit with the chicken and sour cream mixture. fold the biscuit to seal and place in casserole dish.

3. when finished place in oven and cook until biscuits are lightly brown (about 15 minutes).

4. mix cream of chicken soup and milk in small bowl. remove casserole and pour mixture evenly over the casserole. replace in the oven for 10 minutes.

5. remove casserole one last time and sprinkle cheese over the casserole. place it in the oven for the cheese to melt. enjoy!

Cook's Notes

Serve with salad and vegetables and you have a healthy meal for the whole family. Let children stir and maybe even roll the biscuits out!

This is delicious! I used pre-formed biscuits and simply made one layer on the bottom, then added the sour cream and chicken, then added another layer on top. Great recipe! :)

Great meal! Taste just like a chicken pot pie. Hubby and kids really liked it too! Served with a side of green beans which go well with the sour cream in the chicken.

This meal is easy and very appealing to the eye....it also serves up to 7. I used a can of 8 biscuits and the chicken/sr. cream mix filled 7 "pockets". Makes a great meal for the entire family...guests too!
