Ingredients

6 -boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
2-16oz Jars of Picante Sauce(I use pace picante sauce-mild)(reserve 1/4-cup of picante sauce for topping).
1-1lb. Block colby jack cheese(shredded).
1-pkg Flour tortilla shells(2pkg if you choose to use the burrito size).
1/4-teaspoon Lawry's seasoned salt.
1-tablespoon Canola oil
Toppings:
Lettuce
Black olives
Salsa
Sour cream

Preparation

In deep frying pan, Saute chicken breast in canola oil sprinkle with season salt. Cut into cubes. Add picante sauce (reserve 1/4 cup) and shredded cheese(reserving 1/4 cup), simmer for about 15 minutes. Spoon mixture into flour shells and fold like a burrito placing in 9x13 baking dish. Top with 1/4 cup of reserved salsa and 1/4 cup of reserved cheese. Bake at 350 degree oven until cheese melts about 10 min. Serve with your favorite toppings.

Cook's Notes

You can also cut up the chicken breast and sprinkle with season salt. I place chicken, picante sauce and shredded cheese in the crock pot or slow cooker and stir it up and cook on low all day and when I get home I put in shells and bake. You can use this for nachos too or you can skip the baking and use the filling in hard shells like a regular taco.
