Campfire Nachos

We like to make this one-dish meal while camping.

Ingredients

1 lb. Ground beef

1 can Refried beans

1 can Corn, drained

1 jar/ Can nacho cheese

Tortilla chips

Preparation

Brown ground beef and drain well. Add remaining ingredients, mix well, and let warm through. Dip with tortilla chips.

Cook's Notes

This is a great recipe for camping or just munching in front of a movie. It is particularly great for kids who don't want to sit down for a meal--they think they are snacking! Best of all, use paper plates and there is very little clean-up!

We make something similar to this in Girl Scouts. We use the individual bags of Nacho chips (like Doritos) and crunch them up a little in the bag. The girls can open their bags and spoon in a little of the mixture and then eat it right out of the bag with a fork. Very simple clean up!
