Ingredients

1 lb Cellantani

3/4 cloves Garlic, chopped

1/2 Onion, chopped

1/2 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes

1 c Frozen peas

2 tbs EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)

1 can Diced tomatoes in juice

1 can Tomato sauce or tomato puree

Salt & pepper

1/4 lb Prosciutto, cut into thin strips

20 Leaves fresh basil

Grated Romano

Preparation

Cook pasta.

Moderate heat: cook garlic, onion and red pepper in EVOO for 3/4 minutes. Add tomatoes and sauce to the pan. When it comes to a boil, reduce - season with salt & pepper.

When pasta is done - drain. Sprinkle ribbons of sliced prosciutto and the green peas into sauce. Stir to combine and heat peas through. Toss with pasta.
