| 8 ounces | Cream cheese, softened (reduced fat) |
| 1/2 cup | Sour cream( reduced fat) |
| 2 tbsp | Pear nectar |
| 2 tbsp | Honey |
| 1/4 tsp | Each ground cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg |
| 1 | Large ripe but firm winter pear, peeled and grated |
| 1 tbsp | Dried currants |
| 2 tbsp | Finely minced crystallized ginger |
| 2 tbsp | Sliced almonds |
| | Dippers- broccoli flowerets and carrot sticks and sesame seeded crackers |
Beat the cream cheese and sour cream together in a medium bowl till smooth. Mix in the nectar, honey, spices, pear, currants, ginger and almonds till well blended. Place the dip in a serving bowl and chill till serving time. To serve place the bowl on a platter and surround with the dippers.
