Ingredients

3 cups Fat-free milk
2 Tblsps. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. Ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Salt (optional)
1/8 tsp. Ground nutmeg
2 cups Oats (quick or old-fashioned, uncoo; ked)
2 Medium-size ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 cup)
2 - 3 Tblsps. coursely chopped toasted; pecans
Banana slices (optional)

Preparation

In a medium saucepan bring milk, brown sugar, spices and salt to a gentle

boil (watch carefully!)

Stir in oats, return to boil, reduce heat

Cook 1 minute for quick oats, 5 minutes for old-fashioned, or until most of

the liquid is absorbed. Stir occasionally.

Remove oatmeal from heat

Stir in mashed bananas and pecans

Spoon mixture into 4 cereal bowls

Top with sliced bananas
