Yummy homemade mashed potatoes

Ingredients

3 1/2 lb Baking potatoes (6 large)peeled, cut in large chunks
4 tbsp. Unsalted butter, cut up
13/4 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp Black pepper
1 1/4 cup Milk, warmed

Preparation

1. In a 5 -6 qt. pot, place potatoes. Add enough cold water to cover potatoes by 1 inch. bring to a boil Gently boil 15 - 20 minutes, until tender. Drain return potatoes to pan.

2. Add butter, mash with potato masher until potatoes are very lumpy. Add salt and peper, Continute to mash while gradually working in warm milk, until desired consistency.

Just like grandma used to make. Delicious.
