Honey Balls, Struffoli

Grandma Sue made the Honey balls, every Christmas, She would make them the day prior to Christmas Eve. We would eat the Struffoli after the Christmas Eve Dinner. And always on Christmas Day!

Ingredients

3 cups Flour

4 Eggs

1/4 cup Olive Oil

1 tbs. Sugar

1/4 tsp. Salt

1 tbs. Lemon peel

Oil to fry with

Preparation

Put all into bowl. Mix and work with hands. Add more flour if needed. cut in small pcs. roll out like a long log. Cut into small rounds. Fry until golden brown.

Add honey over balls and top with conf. sugar.

Cook's Notes

I will sometimes add almond in with the honey.
