Another great recipe from a super cookbook.

Ingredients

1 tbl Vegetable oil

1 tablespoon Reduced-sodium soy sauce

3 tablespoons Maple syrup or honey

3 tablespoons Bottled chopped ginger

2 cloves Garlic

1 pound Tender boneless beefsteak, such as sirloin or rib-eye

Preparation

1. Turn gas grill to high

2.In glass dish large enough to hold the steak, combine the vegetable oil, soysauce, maple syrup and ginger and beat with a fork to blend well. Peel and mince the garlic and add to dish, mix well.

3. Cut beef crosswise into slices about 1/2 inch thick. Place the slices in the marinade and toss well to coat. Let stand at room temperature for at least 10 minutes. Can be covered & placed in fridge up to 8 hours.

4.Grill to desired doneness, brushing with marinade several times and turning once. Serve at once. (5 min for med rare)
