Ingredients

3/4 to 1 pound Ground beef
1 Small onion, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 package (16 oz)frozen tater tots
1 can (10-3/4 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
2/3 cup Milk or water
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

In a skillet, cook beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is tender; drain. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a greased 1-1/2 to 2 qt. baking dish. Top with potatoes. Combine soup and milk or water; pour over potatoes. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
