Took the advice of the previous comment, still used seasoned salt however, and then added a shallot and some organic free range chicken broth. Oh - and I used milk mixed with the flour rather than water. It was pretty easy - we might make it again.

Based on the two comments prior, I adjusted the recipe and thankfully I did. It was delicious. Spicy, but not overpowering. Had I have used the actual seasoning called for, I wouldn't have been able to eat it. I doubled the recipe and made adjustments as follows: 2 pounds chicken 4 tbl butter 15 oz can tomato sauce 1 tbl italian seasoning (that would only be 1/2 tbl if not doubling) 1 tsp REGULAR SALT (only 1/2 if not doubling) 1 tsp pepper (again, only 1/2 if not doubling) everything else is the same, simply double if needed. Also, I don't use rice for many recipes so even a small box was pricey I thought. I served this dish over Chicken Rice a Roni. . .it was fabulous! It looks a little less than desirable when you serve it (which the recipe without the rice does so anway) and I thought my 8 year old would RUN! He opted to try it and ate nearly every bite! Thanks for the recipe.

There was WAY too much Italian Seasoning in this dish. Even if I were to adjust the Italian Seasoning, I would not make this dish again.
