AMAZING Pork Cutlets (or Chops!)

Contributed By: steffyo
My Invention

I threw these together one night out of some random things we had around the house. My husband who "doesn't like pork unless its bacon" loved them, and it is now a weekly request!

Ingredients

2 Pork Loin Cutlets or "bone out" chops (thawed)
1/2 c Multi-Grain Cheerios
1 Slice bread
1 Egg
2 tbs Ketchup
Cooking oil or spray
Garlic Salt
Itallian Herbs

Preparation

In a food processor (or ziploc bag with a mallet) crumb bread and cheerios. Place crums in a shallow dish (I use a salad plate).

Beat egg and ketchup in a small bowl until solid orange color and dip cutlets in this mixture.

Once dipped, roll cutlets in crumbs, be sure to coat completely. Sprinkle with garlic salt and itallian herbs.

Preheat oven to 350.

Heat oil in a frying pan on medium heat and lightly brown breaded cutlets on both sides, tranfer to baking dish.

Bake until thouroughly cooked, for 1/2 inch cutlets 25 minutes is perfect.
