Ingredients
4 Small pitas (whole wheat)
Plum tomato slices
Dried basil
3 oz Canadian-style bacon
1/2 cup Pineapple chunks, drained and chopped
1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400. Split pitas horizontally to make 2 rounds each. Top each round with tomato slices, then sprinkle lightly with basil. Add 3/4 ounce bacon, 2 tbsp pineapple, and 2 tbsp cheese to each round and bake until pita is crisp and cheese is lightly browned.
