Ingredients
1-1/2 lb Boneless chicken breasts
4 Green onions, cut into 1" pieces
3 cloves Garlic, minced
1/3 cup Soy sauce
4 tsp Sugar
1tbsp Vegetable oil
1 tbsp Sesame oil
1 tbsp Sake, sherry or rice wine vinegar
2 tsp Gingerroot (optional)
1 tsp Pepper
1tbsp Sesame seeds, toasted
2 cups Rice
Dipping Sauce:
1 tbsp. Korean red pepper paste (or Asian chili garlic sauce)
1 tsp Each of soy sauce and sesame oil
1/4 cup Sugar
Preparation
Slice breasts horizontally in half; slice into 1/2" thick slices.
In large bowl, combine onions, garlic, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, sake or rice vinegar, ginger and peper; add chicken and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. (Make a-head: Refrigerate for up to 3 hours.)
Coat wok or skillet with vegetable oil. Place chicken in wok or skillet. Cook until there is no pink left. Add sauce over chicken. Cook until broiling. Remove from heat serve over rice.
