Ingredients

1/2 lb Lean (at least 80%) ground beef
2 cups Red kidney beans (from 19-oz can), drained, rinsed
1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed tomato soup
1 Soup can water
1 tablespoon Instant minced onion
2 to 3 teaspoons Chili powder




Preparation

1.Cook beef in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain.

2.Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.

Cook's Notes

Have the kids help by sprinkling the chili with shredded Cheddar cheese or fish-shaped crackers. Substitution The next time you make this super-quick soup, try adding a can of whole kernel corn, drained, with the beans.
