Seven-Layer Salad

You'll be amazed at this great potluck salad.

Ingredients

1 Layer shredded lettuce

1 Layer chopped celery

1 Layer chopped green onions

1 Layer chopped green pepper

1 layer (10 oz Pkg) frozen peas, cooked, drained, and chilled

1 Layer shredded mild Cheddar cheese

1 cup Mayonnaise

1 cup Sour cream

1 tbsp Sugar

8 pieces Bacon, cooked and crumbled

Preparation

Layer the vegetables and cheese in the listed order in a 9x13 pan.


Mix the mayonnaise, sour cream and sugar. Spread this over the top of the cheese like frosting all the way to the edges of the pan to seal. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours. Sprinkle crumbled bacon over top before serving.
