Chicken Teriyaki

Dress up the same old chicken breast recipe with a splash of teriyaki.

Ingredients

4 Chicken breasts

1/2 cup Soy sauce

1/4 cup Water

1 tsp. Ground ginger

2 cloves Garlic, minced

2 tb. Sugar

Preparation

Put everything but chicken in a sturdy zip-lock bag and mix. Add chicken, close bag and marinate in the refrigerator for an hour. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes, until breasts are done (not at all pink in the middle).

Cook's Notes

Serve with steamed white rice and steamed or microwaved broccoli or green beans. Mix some diced red peppers with the vegetables for color. Bring extra soy sauce to the table.

Vanilla ice cream sprinkled with toasted coconut makes a perfect dessert.
