Here's a dinner that everyone in the family will love.

Ingredients

1 lb Lean ground beef (or half ground beef and half ground turkey)

1/2 cup Fresh breadcrumbs

1 Large egg, lightly beaten

3 tb Dry red wine

2 tb Tomato paste

1/2 tsp Salt

Flour

2 - 3 tb Olive oil

1 lb Spaghetti

1 large (30 oz. ) jar spaghetti sauce

1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation

Mix meat, breadcrumbs, egg, wine, tomato paste and salt in a bowl and blend well. Shape into 2 inch meatballs. Roll lightly in flour. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium high heat. Add the meatballs and brown on all sides. Pour off fat.

Meanwhile, in a large pot, bring 6 quarts of water to a rolling boil. Add spaghetti and cook until just tender. Heat bottled (or homemade) sauce in saucepan.

Serve spaghetti with meatballs and sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Cook's Notes

Green salad with Italian dressing, crunchy breadsticks or garlic bread are all that's needed for a great dinner.

I would take out the red wine next time but it was simple and a very delicious meal. Husband totally loved it and he usually doesn't like my spaghetti.
