New-Tradition Lasagna with Spinach Noodles

A great version of lasagna

Ingredients

1/2 cup (2 ounces) grated fresh Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon Butter or stick margarine, softened

1/4 teaspoon Salt

1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

1/8 teaspoon Grated whole nutmeg

1 (15 ounce) carton fat-free ricotta cheese

6 cups Marinara sauce

Cooking spray

9 Cooked spinach lasagna noodles

1/4 cup Thinly sliced fresh basil, divided

2 cups (8 ounces) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese, divided

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Combine first 6 ingredients in a bowl. Spoon 1 cup marinara sauce into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Arrange 3 noodles over sauce; top with 1 cup ricotta mixture, 2 cups marinara sauce, 2 tablespoons basil, and 2/3 cup mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers, ending with noodles. Spread 1 cup marinara sauce over noodles; top with 2/3 cup mozzarella cheese. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let stand 15 minutes. Yield: 9 servings.
