| 1 1/3 cups | All-purpose flour |
| 1/3 cup | Yellow cornmeal |
| 1 tablespoon | Sugar |
| 1 1/2 teaspoons | Baking powder |
| 1/4 teaspoon | Salt |
| 1/2 cup | Plus 2 tablespoons skim milk |
| 2 tablespoons | Vegetable oil |
| 1 | Egg, beaten |
| | Vegetable cooking spray |
Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine milk, oil, and egg; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Drop batter by heaping tablespoons onto a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack. Yield: 1 dozen biscuits (about 96 calories each).
