Fresh Apple Cake

Cinnamon and apple make this cake a delicious and fresh treat.

Ingredients

1-1/2 cup Oil

2 cups Sugar

2 Eggs, lightly beaten

3 cups Flour

1 tsp Baking soda

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Cinnamon

2 tsp Vanilla

3 cups Fresh sliced, peeled apples

Glaze for cake:

1/2 cup Brown sugar

1/2 cup Butter

1/8 cup Milk

1 tsp Vanilla

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl, adding apples last. Place into a greased 9 X 13 cake pan. Bake at 325 degrees F for 1-1/2 hours.

For glaze, mix in a medium sauce pan and boil for 2-1/2 minutes. Pour over cooled cake.
