It's a great addition to potlucks.
Salad:
4 cups Broccoli
1/2 lb. Bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 Red onion, thinly sliced and chopped
1/2 cup Currants (golden raisins)
1/2 cup Sunflower seeds, salted or unsalted
Dressing:
1 cup Mayonnaise
3 tablespoons Red wine vinegar
3 tablespoons Sugar
Wash broccoli and tear into small pieces. Use some of the stems. Combine with other ingredients. Make dressing the day before and add to salad just before serving.

don't use currants! Raisins or golden raisins are good, as is a little grated cheddar.
