Ingredients
1/4 cup Butter
1 tbsp Flour
2 tsp Chicken-flavored instant
Bouillon
3/4 tsp Basil leaves
1/4 tsp Garlic powder
1/8 tsp Pepper
1 cup (1/2 pint) half-and-half
1 cup Milk
1/2 (1lb ) package fettuccini
1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
Chopped parsley, walnuts and crumbed bacon
Preparation
In medium saucepan, melt margarine; stir in flour, bouillon, basil, garlic powder and pepper. Gradually add cream and milk. cook and stir until bouillon dissolves and sauce thickens slightly, about 15 minutes. meanwhile, cook fettuccini according to package directions; drain. Remove sauce from heat; add cheese. In large bowl; pour sauce over hot fettuccini; stir to coat. Garnish with parsley, walnuts and bacon. Serve immediately. Refrigerate leftovers.
