Ingredients

1 cup Old - fasioned rolled oats
1/4 Cuptoasted wheat germ
3 tbs. Turbinado sugar
2 tbs. Coarsely Chopped walnuts
2 tbs. Nonhydrogenated buttery spread, melted
1/2 tsp. Ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Salt

Preparation

heat oven to 400.Cover a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine all ingrediants on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 9 to 10 min. stirring after 5 moin. Cool completey. Store in an air tight container for up to one week.

Ten minutes was too long for me, but I substituted butter and sucanat. Next time I'll try stirring every three minutes. Thanks for sharing this easy recipe!
