Ingredients
1 Large onion chopped
5 Garlic cloves
1/2 tsp Finely grated fresh ginger
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 Medium tomato chopped
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Chili powder
3 tbsp Canola oil
1 lb Large shrimp, peeled, deveined with tail intact.
Chopped fresh cilantro
Preparation
In blender combine onion through chili powder; blend until smooth.
Heat oil in saute pan over medium-high heat. Add onion mixture; cook until heated through. Add shrimp; cook 5 minutes. Sprinkle with cilantro. Serve over steamed rice.
