Baked Halibut Italian Style

A flavorful dish that is easy to prepare. Impress friends and family with this one.

Ingredients

4 Halibut steaks
1/3 cup Chopped onion
1/2 clove Garlic, minced
2 tbsp Butter
1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
1 can (4oz) mushrooms
1/4 cup Sliced ripe olives
1/2 tsp Oregano
1/2 tsp Sugar
1/8 tsp Pepper
1/4 cup Grated parmesean cheese

Preparation

Place halibut in buttered baking dish. Saute onion and garlic in butter until onion is tender. Add tomato sauce, mushroooms, olives, oregano, sugar, salt, and pepper. Heat through. Pour over fish and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees F. for 25 minutes.
