Easy to make Seasoned Middle Eastern dish.

Ingredients
1.5 lbs Ground chuck
3 tbsp Garlic powder
2 tbsp Ground cinnamon
1 tbsp Ground allspice
2 c. Long-grain rice, uncooked
1 tbsp Beef bouillon granules
4 c. Water
1/4 c Pine nuts, toasted
2 Green onions, chopped
Rice wine vinegar or lemon juice
Preparation
1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large skillet; cook over medium heat until meat is browned, stirring until it crumbles.
2. Stir in rice, bouillon granules, and water
3. Bring t a boil. Cover, reduce heat and cook 25 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
4. Sprinkle with pine nuts and green onions; serve with rice wine vinegar.
Cook's Notes
The amounts of garlic powder and spices are correct for this highly seasoned Middle Eastern entrée.
A crisp tossed salad and warm pita bread are nice additions for this ethnic dish, and raisins and chutney are traditional condiments to top it off.
If you can't find pine nuts in the grocery store, use pecans.
