Rice with mixed nuts and meat

very decorative way to serve rice

Ingredients

2 cups Short grain rice, cooked

1/2 lb. Ground beef or lamb

1/3 cup Pine nuts

1/3 cup Almond, peeled and chopped

1/4 cup Seedless raisins

Butter

Salt and black pepper

1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon or allspice

Preparation

Fry the meat. And fry the mixed nuts in butter. Meat will take longer time to cook.

Mix the meat with the nuts, salt and pepper, and other spices.

Add the fried mixed nuts to the meat after it is cooked and add the raisins.

Put- press the hot cooked rice in a mold to fill (any shape you like).. could be in one or individuals molds.

Turn out the molded rice onto a heated serving dish and top it (spread) with the meat and nuts mixture.
