Peel the artichokes to the hearts.
Remove the chokes. Soak the artichokes in cold water with the some lemon juice-
Cook ground beef, chopped onions,pine nuts, salt, pepper and cinnamon in butter till soft and mixed well.
Fill the artichokes with the meat mixture. In a deep pan, lay the stuffed artichokes close to each other and add water to cover.
Simmer on top of the stove or bake in a 375 F. for one hour.
Serve hot with cut tomato wedges
