Ingredients

3/4 cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
5 oz. Bittersweet Chocolate
4 oz. Butter (softened)
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
Powdered Sugar

Preparation

1.Whisk together & set aside flour, baking soda, and salt.

2.Beat butter on medium til fluffy.

3.Beat both sugars into butter til smooth.

4.Melt chocolate in double boiler. Then beat into butter til blended.

5.Reduce speed to low and beat flour mixture in batches into butter until just blended.

6.Cover bowl and cool til firm (~2 hours)

7.Place shelves in upper and lower 2/3 of oven and preheat to 375F.

8.Shape dough into 1" balls and coat with powdered sugar.

9.Bake 8 minutes (until tops spring back).

10.Cool 2 minutes on sheet on wire rack then completely on wire rack.
