Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Beat egg whites until foamy with cream of tarter in a small deep bowl. Gradually add sugar to make a stiff meringue. Fold in M&Ms.
Grease & flour cookie sheet. Drop meringues by teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Garnish with red & green M&Ms.
Bake until firm to touch but still white, about 30 minutes. Cool ON cookie sheet. Remove when cold and store in tight container.
