Ingredients
2 cups Red seedless grapes
2 cups Green seedless grapes
1/4 cup Orange juice
2 tbsp Truvia or sugar substitute
1 tsp Finely grated orange peel
1 cup Fat free whipped topping
1/2 tsp Almond extract
1/3 cup Slivered almonds, toasted
Preparation
1. In a medium bowl stir together grapes, oj, sugar substitute, and orange peel. Refrigerate at least 3 hours.
2. Just before serving, in a small bowl stir together whipped topping and almond extract.
3. To serve, place chilled grapes in 4 small glasses or pretty glass dishes. Top with almond-flavored whipped topping and sprinkle with toasted almonds.
Cook's Notes
Original recipe called for 2 TBS of raw (turbinado) sugar; I switched to Truvia (stevia plant sweetner at Safeway or health food stores)
