Napa Valley BBQ Chicken

Ingredients

Chicken pieces for 6

1/4 cup Butter

1 cup (or less) catsup *

1/2 cup Sherry *

1/3 cup Water *

2 tsp Lemon juice *

1/2 Medium onion, minced *

1 tsp Worchestershire sauce *

2 tsp Butter (or oil) *

1 tsp Brown sugar *

Preparation

Coat chicken with seasoned flour. Saute in butter. Put in casserole. In same skillet, combine catsup & rest of ingredients. Bring to boil, pour over chicken. Bake covered 1 1/2 - 2 hrs at 325 degrees F.

Cook's Notes

* I put uncooked chicken in aluminum foil lined flat pans. Pour uncooked mixed sauce over chicken. Do it all in oven. Much easier and less messy.
