Ingredients

1 tbsp. Light margarine
1 tbsp. All-purpose flour
1/2 cup Fat-free half-and-half
2 tbsp. Grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. Finely chopped parsley
1 tsp. Minced garlic

Preparation

Heat margarine in a saucepan until melted; stir in flour until smooth and hot. Add half-and-half and stir until thickened; stir in remaining ingredients. Serve over your favorite pasta.

This is the only alfredo sauce that I make. It is superior in taste and nobody but you will know that is low fat because the flavor is wonderful ! I'd give it more than a 5-star rating for sure !

This sauce was delicious. It made just enough for two people. It was a little thick so I added about two tablespoons skim milk. I also added sauted mushrooms, some diced shallot, and frozen spinach. It was great.

Very easy and tasty. It doesn't make very much, though, so if you are making it for a larger group (more than 2 people) then you might want to double (at least) the recipe!
