Better For You Spinach Dip

Revised version of the traditional Knorr recipe

I've substituted fat-free yogurt for sour cream for extra calcium, less fat and fewer calories. The tang of the plain yogurt helps compensate for the sweetness of the reduced-fat mayonnaise. You'll hardly taste the difference!

Ingredients

10 ounces Frozen chopped spinach
1 package Vegetable soup mix
12 ounces Fat-free, plain yogurt
One-half Cup Low-fat mayonnaise
One-half Cup Mayonnaise
8 oz Water Chesnuts, chopped

Preparation

Thaw the chopped spinach and squeeze out the extra moisture.

Combine all ingredients and chill for at least two hours before serving.

Cook's Notes

Serve in a hollowed out bread bowl or with crackers and vegetables. Watch it disappear!
