Preparation
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Toss together rutabagas, olive oil, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
Lay out pieces on a cookie sheet.
Bake for about 15-20 min. on one side til browned
Turn over and bake for another 15-20 min on other side.
Fries are done when tender on the inside and browned on the outside.
