Great vegetable side

Ingredients

1/2 pound Fresh green beans

1/2 cup Thinly sliced shallots (or onions)

1 tsp Balsamic vinager

1-2 tbs Olive Oil

Salt

Pepper

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425

Trim any stems off of the green beans

Wash green beans, pat dry

Toss green beans with 1 tbs olive oil, and a dash of salt and peper

Spread green beans on cookie sheet. Make sure each green bean is directly on the tray, don't pile them on top of each other.

Put in oven at 425 degrees for 8- 15 minutes.

Check the green beans frequently, you want them to brown and shrivel up, the more shrivled the sweeter, but don't thet them turn black. You can turn the green beans over to cook on both sides.

Meanwhile sautee shallots (or onions) with a small amount of olive oil, untill translucent and browning. Add balsamic vinager.

When both are done, combine the shallots with the green beans, taste and adjust seasoning.

Enjoy
