Preparation
Mash the bananas with the vanilla extract and set aside. Combine the milk and salt in a small saucepan and heat until almost boiling. Add the oats and cook, stirring, for 1 to 2 minutes, or until creamy. Stir in the banana mixture. Remove from the heat, cover, and let stand for about 5 minutes. Put in bowl and sprinkle the walnuts.
