Almond Chicken Casserole

delicious casserole for any season

Ingredients

2 Cp chicken, cooked and cubed

1 Cn Cream of Chicken soup

3/4 Cp mayo

2 Celery ribs, chopped

1 Cn water chestnuts, drained and chopped

2 Hard boiled eggs, chopped

2 tsp Lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

Cinnamon

1 Cp shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 Cp crushed corn flakes

2 tbsp Butter

1/4 Cp sliced almonds

Preparation

In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Spread in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Toss the corn flakes with butter, sprinkle over cheese. Toss almonds over top. Bake uncovered at 350° for 25 – 30 minutes or until heated through.
