Ingredients
3/4 cup All-Bran or Bran Buds cereal
1 cup Skim milk
2/3 cup Whole wheat flour
1/3 cup Splenda
2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1 1/4 cups Oat bran
2/3 cup Raisins
1 Large apple, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch cubes
1 Egg, slightly beaten
2 tsp Canola oil
1/2 cup Unsweetened applesauce
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Lin a 12 cup muffin tins with paper or foil liners
- In a bowl, stir together flour, Splenda, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in oat bran, raisins and apple.
- In small bowl combine egg, oil and apple sauce. Stir, along with cereal mixture into dry ingredients.
- Divide batter among muffin cups. Bake until lightly browned, about 20 minutes.
