All in 1 Casserole

Classic casserole dish that is easy and good

Ingredients

1 lb Ground beef

1 tsp Salt

1 clove Garlic - minced

1 tsp Chili powder

1 Onion, chopped

1 Green pepper, chopped

1 Lg can tomatoes - 28oz

1 can Beans, kidney or other

3/4 cup Rice - uncooked

Shredded cheese

1/4 cup Olives - optional

Preparation

Brown meat and drain fat. Add onion, pepper, garlic, salt, and chili powder, and saute until limp. Add tomatoes, beans, and rice. Mix and pour into a 2 qt casserole dish. Bake covered for 45 minutes @ 350 degrees. Add cheese and olives and bake 15 more minutes.

*If in a hurry, use cooked rice and cook on the stove top.

Cook's Notes

I have had trouble with the rice not cooking through all the way so I usually cook or partially cook the rice.
