Beef n Asparagus Stir Fry
Preparation
Cook rice according to package instructions.
While rice is cooking, thinly slice steak into bite-size strips.
Preheat wok/lg. skillet over high heat.
While wok heats, mix water, soy sauce, sherry, garlic and pepper.
Add cornstarch to cold water and dissolve; add to soy mix.
Stir fry: add oil to hot wok. Add beef to wok and stir fry over high for 2-3 minutes or until done. Push beef from center. Break up frozen asparagus/broccoli while it is stilli n package and add it to center of wok. Stir fry for 2 min. Push asparagus from center. Stir sauce and add to center of wok. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Toss sauce lightly with meat and asparagus to coat.
Cook and stir for one min. more.
Serve over hot rice.
