Tater Tot Casserole

Ingredients

1 (2 lb ) bag tater tots

1 lb. Hamburger or sausuage

1 (14.5 oz) can Green beans

2 (10.75 oz) can Cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, nacho cheese soup, or 1 can soup and 1 can sour cream

2 cups Grated cheese or 1 can of French fried onions

1 Small onion

Preparation

Brown hamburger or sausuage and chopped onion. Salt and pepper to taste. Add the veggies while still heating in the skillet. Also add the soup/sour cream mixture you have chosen. Heat through.

In a casserole dish, you may choose to place the tater tots in the pan first to absorb the flavor of the sause, or you can put the sauce in first and layer th tots on top for crispier browned tots. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes with tots on top or 45 to 60 minutes if tots are on bottom. Sprinkle cheese or French fried onions on top for the last 10 t o15 minutes of baking time.

Cook's Notes

Can subsitute 1 cup fresh or frozen green beans or corn in place of canned green beans.
