Good with any number of breakfast items.
2 cups Flour
1 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Baking powder
¼ teaspoon Baking soda
¼ cup Shortening
¾ cup Buttermilk
Combine flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Cut in shortening. Add buttermilk and mix well. Knead 10 to 12 times. Pat out flat and cut with biscuit cutter. Bake at 450 F for 15 to 18 minutes.
